Christmas Tree

Finally, my finals were done by yesterday! Aahh.. Feels like heaven on earth.. lol.. Makin seneng karena Christmas is coming! Woohoo!! My fav season of the year.. :D  Somehow, akhir2 ini Christmas mulai berubah makna.. Kalo mnurut gw seh ya.. hehehe.. Jaman sekarang Christmas uda identik dengan shopping besar2an, makan2, party, decorating home, etc.. Well, itu semua ga salah seh, but makna Natal yang sebenernya itu uda ga ada :(  Once again, mnurut gw personally ya.. hehe..

Christmas taon ini, Tuhan ingetin lagi ke gw kalo Christmas means celebrating His birth.. Taon2 lalu, gw selalu spend Christmas gw dengan hang out cari Christmas tree yang gede2.. hahaha.. Ga jelas bener ya? haha.. Gw suka aja liatin pohon'nya yg warna-warni n bagus2.. :p  But, one more time He reminds me supaya gw ga jadi kayak pohon Natal itu..

Heh? Jadi kayak pohon Natal?? O_o  hahaha.. Yup, bukan typo.. Dulu gw perna nulis kan kalo gw kepingin jadi pohon yang besar n kuat, yang ditanam di tepi aliran air (which is God).. n bisa dijadiin orang bersandar.. Kalo belom perna baca, klik disini yah.. :)   Naahhh, base on that, gw dapet reflection supaya kita as believer kaga jadi kayak pohon Natal gt.. "Maksud'nya feb?" Gini.. Pohon Natal emang warna-warni, cantik, n yes adorable (for me seh.. hehehe..) But, it has no life.. Dy bagus dari luar aja, but dy bukan pohon idup.. Meskipun pohon Natal yang kamu2 pajang dirumah itu dari pohon idup, tapi kan tetep aja dy ditebang dulu trus dirapiin daun2nya, baru deh bisa dihias di dalem rumah.. hehehe.. Unless, pohon idup yang beneran ada diluar rumah, itu laen cerita ya.. hehe.. Yang gw bilang pohon Natal2 yang kita pajang di dalem rumah, gedung2, etc..

Akhir2 ini, Christmas uda mulai berubah.. Yang dulunya celebrate His birth, sekarang brasa kayak acara taonan biasa.. It's like time to shop (big sale is everywhere! lol..) Time to hold a party.. Time to hang out or vacation, etc.. Tapi apa itu sebenernya yang di mao Babeh? Do we remember this verse?

Jesus, the King of Kings, was born for us to be crucified! Hayaahhh.. Dy itu Raja, Pencipta kita, tapi sekaligus jadi Penyelamat kita! It's such an honor kalo kita masih dipake sama Tuhan.. It's an honor kalo Tuhan mao panggil kita.. It's such a grace kalo kita masi bernafas hingga saat ini n bisa celebrate the upcoming Christmas.. Banyak orang diluar sana yang ga bisa celebrate Christmas.. So, consider yourself as a rich people! (well, we are the princes n princesses of the King tho.. hehe..)

But, what we have done? Kalo Tuhan panggil, kita'nya pura2 ga denger.. Kalo Tuhan minta waktu sedikiiiiiittttt aja buat doa, sok2 sibuk.. Hellooww.. Kalo Tuhan sibuk n ga mao anggep kita gimana? What are our life will be? Duh.. Ga brani bayangin deh x____x  Karena sikap2 kita yang begitu itu, jaman sekarang uda banyak orang yang jadi kayak pohon Natal.. Keliatan spirit rohani'ny idup dari luar, but it's dead inside.. How sad! Cari Tuhan bukan suatu kewajiban lagi, tapi cuman sekedar ada aja.. Ke gereja setiap minggu, but hati'nya ga perna ikutan hadir di gereja.. a.k.a. ke gereja, tapi pikiran'nya kemana-mana.. Ato ga, ke gereja cuman pas event taonan doank.. hahaha.. Guys, service'nya Tuhan 24/7 rekk.. Bukan cuman tiap2 event begitu.. hehehe..

"Perhiasanmu janganlah secara lahiriah, yaitu dengan mengepang-ngepang rambut, memakai perhiasan emas atau dengan mengenakan pakaian yang indah-indah, tetapi perhiasanmu ialah manusia batiniah yang tersembunyi dengan perhiasan yang tidak binasa yang berasal dari roh yang lemah lembut dan tenteram, yang sangat berharga di mata Allah." -1 Petrus 3:3-4

So, we have been warned.. Jangan jadi kayak Christmas tree yang diluar keliatan warna-warni n indah, tapi sesungguhnya mati.. Karena kemolekan adalah bohong dan kecantikan adalah sia-sia.. :)
Be strong saat iblis berusaha mengacau-balaukan idup kita, karena dy ga akan berhasil! Bapa kita yang akan maju berperang buat bela kita! Jika Allah dipihak kita, sapa yang dapat melawan?? To God be the glory!!!  \(^_^)/

Oh dear wind, please don't get mad.. Be nice to those people who live on the street!

Kemarin, ada angin kenceng banget di Los Angeles area.. 97 mph rek! >___<  Gw belum perna denger angin kenceng sampe segitu'nya.. Uda gitu ditambah dingin pula karena mao winter.. Mantappzz deh.. Kalo uda begitu, I could not imagine how's people who live on the street.. In 'regular' winter day, mereka uda freeze to death, apalagi ditambah angin kenceng gini.. Aduhh.. Please pray for them! When we are freezing, we can grab another blanket or wear warmer clothes.. But, how about them?? Apalagi yang mao dipake? Mereka juga belum tentu uda makan.. Mereka bisa sakit.. Trus obat dari mana? Aaarrgghhh.. >__<

Semalem, itu yang ada di pikiran gw.. Dengerin angin yang 'nabrak' sana-sini.. Sendal2 tetangga gw berhamburan semua.. haha.. Tetangga laen lagi, jendela'nya copot.. Oalahh.. -____-  Gw cuman bisa sit down and pray, bener2 ga bisa bayangin gimana mereka2 yang di luar.. :(

A friend of mine said that those people who live on the street would hide in subway or parking lot building or anything else.. Tapi yang udah tua n susah jalan gimana dunksss?? huaaaa.. Juga dibilang kalo tonight bakalan ada storm lagi, n this time will be worse than the first.. Oh Lord, please comfort them.. :'(  To all of you who read this, please pray for those poor people.. I know that we can't save all people because we are not God.. But, at least we can bend our knees and pray.. :)
